John F Hunt Hire Centres was established in 1994 to provide an outstanding service to the building industry, supplying a vast range of medium plant & tools, from our three well stocked depots.

We operate a fleet of fully equipped service vans and offer 24 Hour breakdown cover.  Modern, well-equipped support and delivery vehicles allow us to meet your delivery needs, no matter what type or size of equipment you are having delivered to site, or where it is.

Plant Hire

Formed in 1986 John F Hunt Plant Hire supply heavy plant and attachments to the construction industry on either a short-term contract or lease hire basis. Excavators range from 8 tonne to 87 tonne high reach machines, supplied with a choice of one of the largest selections of mechanical and hydraulic attachments available for hire nationwide.

Full telemetry monitoring systems enable instant fuel consumption analysis, with wireless technology delivering performance information for plant working on site. This data gives an energy saving report on CO₂ emissions, working hours, idling, and travelling time, which allows for maximum productivity, minimising downtime and showing any preventative maintenance necessary for increased efficiency.

Our specialist attachments team focuses on the hire, sale, service, and repair of excavator mounted hydraulic breakers, demolition work tools and attachments and are a leading UK dealer for Rammer products.

John F Hunt Plant Hire also provide major support to John F Hunt Ltd and John F Hunt Regeneration on all their projects throughout London and the UK and can modify or adapt equipment to suit a specific application or job requirement.

Lifting

Thameside Lifting established in 1978, offer a fully inclusive service for all traditional and complex lifting equipment, from design and supply, to repair, servicing and testing of all forms of lifting and material handling.

Proof and shock load testing of all lifting equipment is carried out in-house, along with the provision of equipment for hire or sale. Therefore, when you hire or buy from Thameside Lifting, you can be sure everything comes fully tested and maintained to the highest standard.
